- Civil Engineers/Land Development Project Manager
- We are seeking a graduate civil engineer with 2-5 years of a wide range of land development design experience. Prefer recently or soon to be registered professional engineering license. Most projects will be located in the Baltimore-Washington corridor (Anne Arundel, Howard and Prince George’s Counties) as well as southern Maryland. Experience in any or all of these jurisdictions is a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Management tasks typically will require the following of a project manager:
- Create and execute project work plans.
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Minimize our exposure and risk on project.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manage project budget.
- Lead proposal efforts.
- Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
- Deliver presentations.
- Manage day-to-day client interaction.
- Engineer
- McCrone, Inc.’s Public Works Group in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking an engineer to join its dynamic team. The candidate will have preferably passed the P.E. exam, or have the potential to obtain P.E. registration; have two to five years of experience in the study, design and construction management of water and/or wastewater projects; and have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university.
Responsibilities include studying, designing, preparing drawings and specifications, and reviewing construction of water and wastewater infrastructure for projects throughout Maryland and surrounding states. McCrone serves public and private clients who need engineering services involving water supply, treatment, distribution and storage as well as wastewater collection, treatment and disposal. The Public Works group has a growing work load with some interesting projects starting in the near future. Training is available for this permanent position.
