The Annapolis Office of McCrone includes professionals that specialize in land development, environmental and municipal engineering, surveying, and construction phase services.

The Water/Wastewater Division is engaged in the analysis, planning, design, permitting and construction observation of small to medium sized water and wastewater systems for municipalities, county agencies, public utilities, and private clients in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  The experienced staff helps their clients meet potable water needs, and convey, treat, and dispose of wastewater in an environmentally friendly way. The Water/Wastewater Division also assists governments in the continued improvement of their water and wastewater systems to meet ever evolving federal and state standards.  Our design teams keep abreast of the latest changes in guidelines and regulations as they affect water and wastewater testing, supply, collection, conveyance, treatment, storage, and disposal.  As a result, we are able to provide our clients with designs that best suit their needs.

The Land Development Division provides a full array of professional services for projects, large and small, in residential, commercial, mixed use, redevelopment, institutional and governmental uses.  We can assist from the search for undeveloped or developed land and due diligence through entitlement, design and construction phases.  Our professional staff utilizes the best technology to provide our clients with cost effective solutions; from SyntheSite, GIS to SITEOPS ® to 3D base information for Building Information Modeling (BIM).  Call us to find out how we can help you.

Gary C. Beach, PE, LEED AP
Gary Beach is a Principal with McCrone and was formerly the company President from 1995 through 2011. He is chairman of the board of directors for McCrone and its parent company, Design Teams, Inc. Gary attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in environmental engineering. He has a broad background in water resources, water/wastewater treatment, environmental assessments and land development. Gary is a member of the County Engineer’s Association of Maryland (CEAM), resides on the board of Providence Center, Inc., and is an officer of The BWI Business Partnership, a group actively involved in growing the area’s vital significance.


Kimberly Gomoljak, CPA
For 23 years Kim Gomoljak has been providing sound accounting and management advisory services to business entities ranging in size from $250,000 to $21,000,000 in sales. Her career began as a staff accountant with a CPA firm that specialized in servicing real estate partnerships. She quickly advanced to Controller with a major home builder prior to her current position as Chief Financial Officer of McCrone, Inc., and parent company, Design Teams, Inc. Kim’s extensive accounting experience has primarily revolved around the construction industry with particular expertise in cash flow management.

Kim is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, MI and completed her accounting coursework at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Kim has been an officer and member of the board of directors for both McCrone, Inc. and parent company, Design Teams, Inc. for over 15 years. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Society of Accountants, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Barry Ebersole, PE
Barry L. Ebersole has been the Branch Manager of McCrone's Annapolis office for five of his 25 years with the company. He has also held the positions of Engineer, Professional Engineer, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager. His varied engineering background has provided him unique experience in the environmental and sanitary engineering fields. Barry is involved in and oversees study, design, construction management, and inspection phases of new projects and rehabilitation of existing facilities.

 


Robert Sell, PE
Robert M. Sell has been a Project Manager for 15 of his 25 years in the Water/Wastewater Division. He has also held the positions of Surveyor, Inspector, and Project Engineer. Rob came to McCrone as a summer college intern, and was offered full-time employment upon graduation. He is an experienced designer of sewer, water, stormwater systems, elevated water storage facilities, and water and sewage pumping stations. Rob is involved in, and oversees detailed design, contract document preparation, specification writing, cost estimates, construction engineering, and field-testing.


Ryan Rangel, PE
Ryan J. Rangel has been a Project Manager for five of his 11 years with McCrone. He has also held the position of Project Engineer. Ryan has worked and assisted on wastewater treatment plant designs, potable water treatment system designs, adequate public facility studies, preliminary engineering reports for water and sewer facilities, sewage pumping stations designs, low-pressure sewage collection system designs, vacuum collection and pumping stations designs. Ryan is also experienced in construction management of projects, preliminary designs for wastewater treatment systems for both land application and surface water discharge, rehabilitation designs for existing wastewater treatment systems, design of potable water elevated storage tanks, preliminary design of rechlorination systems, and rehabilitation designs for existing potable water distribution systems.


William Warnock, PE
William Warnock (Bill) manages the Land Development Division in McCrone's Annapolis Office. He has more than 25 years of experience with McCrone and other firms.  Through his career, he has been involved in project feasibility/due diligence, land development planning, design and construction, estimating, bid preparation, contract preparation, negotiation, execution, and project scheduling.  Bill has been responsible for preparation of and securing permits (building, grading, and other types).  In addition, Bill has participated in design charrettes and public meetings for projects large and small. He has been responsible for a wide variety of land development projects, and oversees the company's QA/QC Program.


Bill Brooks, PE, LEED AP BD+C
Bill Brooks has three years of civil and environmental engineering design experience. Bill is a design engineer responsible for producing engineering plans, technical construction specifications, detailed drainage reports and hydrologic analyses for commercial site development and residential subdivisions. Bill is well versed in the requirements of the 2009 update to the Maryland Stormwater Management Manual, environmental site design methodology, and best management practices methodology for stormwater management. Project work includes layout and design of utilities and roadways, plan preparation for piers, bulkheads, dredging, jetties, and shoreline restoration, and preparation of Sensitive Area Reports.


Robert MacWilliams, Prop LS
Robert MacWilliams brings to McCrone over 20 years of experience managing surveys to support planning, engineering and construction. He is a licensed surveyor in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Since joining the McCrone team, Bob has been involved in a variety of projects including ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys for 2,000 acres going into conservation easement, residential and commercial surveys, stream restoration survey projects, and subdivisions. Bob is also versed in easement and right-of-way surveys, legal descriptions, construction stakeout, and “as-built” surveys. As survey manager in McCrone’s Land Development Division, Bob is responsible for timely delivery of survey projects and maintaining or exceeding client expectations.
