Mobile Training – Bringing GIS Training to You
The McCrone GIS team has the unique advantage of a completely mobile training lab. Our ESRI Authorized Training Partner can bring available courses to your location, or any location of your choice. That amounts to a substantial savings to your company for travel, hotel, and reimbursement costs accrued when sending staff to stationary GIS training facilities. We provide the hardware and software needed for each course. Our mobile training lab consists of 10 high performance laptop computers, all equipped with ESRI’s ArcGIS software, that can be transported anywhere in the continental U.S.

Customized Training (ArcGIS version 9.3 or 10)
We offer customized training and workshops using ESRI ArcGIS software. A course will be developed for you based on your training or workflow needs. Our instructors will come to you or a course can be scheduled at our training facility. We can even offer one-on-one consultations and training for any GIS related problem you are having.

Introduction I to ArcGIS (ArcGIS version 9.2)
$ 920 (per student for 2 days – Instructor Led)
This course provides the foundation for understanding what GIS is, what it can do, and how others are using it. You learn the basic functions of a GIS, why a GIS database is powerful, and what coordinate systems and map projections are and why they are important. In course exercises, you work with ArcMap to visualize geographic data, create maps, query a GIS database, perform spatial analysis using common analysis tools, and solve geographic problems using a systematic approach. This course teaches the skills and knowledge needed to take other ArcGIS Desktop courses.

ArcGIS Desktop II: Tools and Functionality (ArcGIS version 9.3)
$1,380 (per student for 3 days – Instructor Led)
This course introduces the fundamental concepts of ArcGIS Desktop software and teaches how to use it to visualize, create, manage, and analyze geographic data. In course exercises, you will use ArcMap and ArcCatalog (the primary applications included with ArcGIS Desktop) to perform common GIS tasks and workflows. By the end of the course, you will understand the range of ArcGIS Desktop functionality and be prepared to work with the software on your own to create GIS maps, work with geographic data, and perform GIS analysis.
